ROBERT FERNANDER
President & CEO
Bob is a proven technology and business leader with over 25 years of experience in building and managing both start-up and established organizations. Bob has successfully opened relevant new markets and grown new revenue streams including data center block-level virtualization technology at Surgient Networks and leading-edge data classification

technology at StoredIQ which applied business requirements to information management and storage. As vice president North America commercial business for Compaq, Bob oversaw a ten point market-share gain in enterprise server, storage and networking products, including products that were designed and by current members of the Pivot3 technology team leadership. Earlier in his career, Bob helped Sun achieve a leading position in servers and storage growing area sales to over a billion dollars. Over the past six years, as CEO of StoredIQ and in other roles, Bob has participated in raising nearly $100M in outside funding.

LEE CASWELL
Chief Marketing Officer (Founder)
Lee is an experienced technology executive with over twenty years of marketing and management experience in the storage, networking, and digital video markets. Prior to Pivot3, Lee held positions as EVP Marketing and Business Development at VMware and was a corporate officer at Adaptec, where he was VP and General Manager of Adaptec's $350M Storage Solutions Group.

Lee managed Adaptec's relationships with OEM customers, led Adaptec's acquisition of IBM's ServeRAID business and launched Adaptec's external storage product line. Prior to Adaptec, Lee was VP Sales and Marketing at Parallax Graphics where he successfully closed funded development relationships with HP and IBM. Lee was a co-founder and Director of Marketing at Kodiak Technology, a LAN startup, and was a marketing analyst at SEEQ Technology, an Ethernet semiconductor company. He spent the first five years of his career in management programs at GE. Lee has a BA from Carleton College where he was a Wingspread Fellow and an MBA from the Tuck School at Dartmouth College where he was a Tuck Scholar.

BILL GALLOWAY
Chief Technology Officer (Founder)
Bill is a recognized thought leader in the storage industry. He is named on 24 storage related patents and has been actively involved in storage technologies and standards such as SAS, SATA, SCSI, Fibre Channel, and RAID. Prior to Pivot3, Bill was co-founder of BREA Technologies, Inc., a successful private storage technology company.

Prior to BREA, he worked for many years at Compaq Computer Corp. as a Principal Member of the Technical Staff where he architected and developed many breakthrough products for storage hardware and software. Bill has over twenty years of product development experience in storage and I/O technology at both public and private companies.

MARK MODICA
Chief Financial Officer
Mark is an experienced financial executive with broad company lifecycle experience at both start-up and mature companies. Mark's unique skill has been rendered serially by advising and leading entrepreneurs from seed stage through IPO.

He has held CFO roles at DigitalBridge Communications, StoredIQ and was the founder and CEO of CyberCFO, a venture-backed firm providing financial services to emerging growth companies and Venture Funds. Mark holds a Masters degree in Accounting from Northeastern's Graduate School of Professional Accounting, as well as an undergraduate degree from Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut. Mark is a Certified Public Accountant who gained valuable experience working at Deloitte and Touche early in his carreer.

RYAN CALLISON
Vice President Engineering (Founder)
Ryan is an experienced engineering manager with an outstanding track record of leading engineering teams in the design, development, and delivery of high-quality revenue-generating products. He is named on 18 storage related patents and is widely known for innovative solutions which reduce costs, increase performance, and improve functionality.

Prior to Pivot3, Ryan was co-founder of BREA Technologies, Inc., a successful private storage technology company. He also worked at Compaq Computer Corp. for many years where he was responsible for successive generations of chip-level and board-level products for servers and storage. Ryan's industry experience spans over twenty years in leading edge I/O solutions at both public companies and private startups.
