The Choctaw Casino deployed more than two petabytes of Pivot3 Serverless Computing storage with embedded virtual servers, and, by loading video management application software directly on the Pivot3 Serverless Computing platform, the casinos stripped out more than 90 physical servers. In addition to the green benefits of nearly 70 kilowatts saved, they saved more than $300,000 in server acquisition costs, and limited data center build-out costs by eliminating more than four racks of servers. Lastly, the casino deployed Pivot3 VM Failover™ technology to help meet gaming regulations, so that applications running on the platform would automatically restart in the case of an appliance failure.
