High-Definition Storage is a collection of Databank appliances connected with standard Gigabit Ethernet connections where each Databank runs the RAIGE Storage Software. Databanks are automatically discovered on the Ethernet network and assigned to virtual RAIGE Arrays of up to eight Databanks.
The RAIGE software aggregates the capacity and performance of the Databank appliances, presents a single logical management view, supports dynamic expansion of the array and protects against any hardware failures.
RAIGE HyperPath leverages standard multipath software in Microsoft or Linux environments to provide connection fault tolerance and bandwidth aggregation.
